    The Transfer Window is an opportunity for Retirement Savings Account (RSA) holders to move from one Pension Fund Administrators (PFA) to another. This window provides an avenue for clients who are not satisfied with the services of their current PFA to migrate to the PFA of their choice.

You can only transfer once a year.

Ensure you complete your data recapture with your current PFA. Thereafter provide your new PFA with the following details ( Surname, Phone Number, PIN Number and Email Address). You will be required to do a biometric capture to complete the Transfer Process.

Transfers are absolutely free.

Requests made within a quarter will be treated in that quarter, requests made in the last month of a quarter will be treated in the next quarter. Transfers will be effected within 7 working days after the quarter in which the request is made.

No, it will not affect your account balance.

You will receive notifications as the transfer process progresses. You will also be notified when the transfer has been completed.

Yes, you can. Proof of impairment will be uploaded alongside your application.

An RSA holder has the right to transfer his or her account from one PFA to another. The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has put measures in place to ensure that such right is respected.

No, you do not need to inform your current PFA before transferring. However, it is important for an RSA holder that registered before 1 July 2019, to have recaptured his/her biometrics and biodata with their current PFA.

The RSA transfer process is conducted on a secure and fully automated platform. The process has inbuilt controls that ensure that it is legitimate and only you can initiate the transfer of your RSA. This is achieved by verifying your fingerprints on the National Identity Management Commission’s (NIMC) database.

Yes, a retiree who is on PW is eligible to transfer their RSA from one PFA to another.

Yes, a Micro Pension Contributor transfer can transfer their RSA from one PFA to another.
